Halle Berry's Baby Daughter's Birth Chart

Gentle readers, I know I'm a bit behind on the birthday posts (let me tell you, trying to buy an apartment in NYC is about the biggest time and energy drain ever), but I figured it would be more exciting to post a birth chart for Halle Berry's new baby daughter.

First of all, I must offer many congrats to Halle and Gabriel Aubry! Not only are they two of the most beautiful people on earth (can't wait to see this baby -- she might actually take Shiloh's Cutest Child Ever title!), but it seems that Halle is genuinely happy and settled after suffering ridiculously bad relationship luck, and we all know she has dreamed of motherhood forever, so I have nothing but warm-and-fuzzies for her despite my natural inclination to resent someone so beautiful and successful.

Anyhoo, the Gorgeous Ones' bundle of joy was, according to published reports, born Sunday, March 16, at 10:17 am in Los Angeles. (Thanks much to readers who wrote in with a heads-up, especially the always fabulously input-offering Reader T!) It has now been confirmed that her name is Nahla Ariela Aubrey. {Source} (Apparently Nahla means "honeybee" in Arabic, which I kind of love.) Without further ado, here is her birth chart:

See Nahla Ariela Aubrey's birth chart (Exclusive to CelebAstroBlogy)

Certainly an interesting, intense chart with those Venus-Saturn and Mars-Pluto oppositions.

No time/mental energy for a full analysis tonight, but more soon.... (Also, now that J.Lo's twins have been named, I'll be doing their full charts soon.)

Namaste and happy almost astrological New Year!

ETA: For anyone who saw the incorrect birth chart initially posted last night, apologies. I literally opened my eyes this morning with the realization I had forgotten to paste the correct chart into the template (isn't it weird when you suddenly remember you forgot something?) and fixed it.

Poll Results: Is Halle Berry Pregnant?

Where does the summer go? Okay, okay, so technically more than a week has gone by since the Poll of the Week was posted, but we all know that the passage of time speeds up in August, in some instances creating a quantum wormhole that might cause the clock to jump from, say, 1:30 AM to 4:00 AM in the blink of an eye. Anyhoo...

"Last week"'s Poll of the Week was:
Do you think Halle Berry is pregnant?

And the results are...

...evenly split between "No" and "No, but she will be by year's end," with one lone vote of "Yes." Well, time will tell, gentle readers, time will tell.

Poll of the Week: Is Halle Berry Pregnant?

People seem to have very strong opinions about the possibility that Halle Berry is pregnant. My feeling is that her progressed and solar return charts show a very optimistic forecast for pregnancy by the end of the year. But many readers have opined that her so-called "baby bump" looks more like bloat. What do you think?

The Halle Berry Bump Watch Continues

The rumor mill in the sky keeps on turning! While many readers were unconvinced by photos of Halle Berry supposedly showing signs of what might be a baby bump, new pictures that find her covering up her stomach are stirring up more suspicion. {Source}Happily, this time around I can actually look into the rumor using astrology, for I now have a sourced birth time thanks to reader Pluto, who provided the 11:59 PM time based on an interview Halle gave Ladies' Home Journal. Thanks, Pluto!

Halle's natal chart shows an almost boundless nurturing capacity and an urgent need to be a mother, represented by a Mars-Jupiter conjunction in mothering Cancer, and chart ruler Venus at 29° Cancer flanking the 4th house cusp, also at 29° Cancer. See Halle Berry's birth chart (vegaattractions.com) Both the 4th house and its associated sign, Cancer, represent family, home, foundation and nurturing; Cancer rules motherhood. The 29th and final degree of a sign holds a certain level of anxiety about the affairs ruled by that sign, as if the person feels compelled to hurry up and wrap up loose ends pertaining to the sign. This certainly mirrors Halle's sense of biological-clock urgency and her statement that if she is not a mom by 40 she'll ask whatever man she's with if he wants to have a baby.

But beneath that anxiety there is a real potential to be a great mom. With that emotionally generous Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer, and a total of four planets, including the vital Sun and Moon (ruler of Cancer), plus Venus, ruler of her Taurus Ascendant, in the 4th house of family, home and foundation, Halle has a lot of nurturing energy to give. The 4th-house stellium of the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Leo will make her a fiercely protective mother who is passionately proud of her kids, encourages and praises them constantly, and wants them to shine.

There are certainly indicators in Halle's natal chart of her painful history, such as the intercepted Saturn-Chiron conjunction in Pisces in a loose opposition to her tight Uranus-Pluto conjunction in Virgo. Life lessons (Saturn) have been painful (Chiron) for Halle; the opposition to the volatile energy of erratic Uranus and manipulative Pluto in controlling Virgo hints at her turbulent, abusive past. But there are also signs that Halle is reaching a more stable, settled, positive place in life and that luck may be turning her way.

In Halle's progressed chart, an astrological measure of where a person has evolved in life and personality, Halle's progressed Sun has just entered Libra and is trining the Aquarius Moon, signaling a significant shift in her energy and an increased focus on relationships. Cancer has come to the Ascendant of the progressed chart, and there is a stellium of five planets in the 4th house. Progressed Venus conjuncting Pluto in Virgo in the 4th house shows that Halle is taking control of her relationships and her home environment to establish stability and a sense of grounding.

Progressed Jupiter has moved into the 4th house and is right on Halle's Venus, an indicator of good fortune and stability in relationships. Expansive Jupiter in the 4th house could represent an addition to the family or household. Halle's solar return (birthday) chart for this year has a Moon-Jupiter opposition that could also augur good luck conceiving and an expansion to the family.

With the positive Jupiter aspects and the emphasis on Cancer and the 4th house, auspices of motherhood are looking pretty darned good for our Ms. Berry. If she is not pregnant already, she may well be soon. In late November and early December, when transiting Jupiter trines her Venus/IC and then her Moon, giving her a particularly fertile (literally) window of opportunity. I wish Halle the best of luck in fulfilling this dream and finally finding the sense of security and stability she deserves.

Please Help Me Investigate the Halle Berry Pregnancy Rumors!

Calling all astrologers! Does anyone have confirmed or at least sourced birth data for the lovely Halle Berry? These pictures of her would seem to suggest she is pregnant, and I would love to take a peep at her chart. But—so maddening!—there are a number of birth times floating around the Interwebs. (There's even some discrepancy about the year, with a few sources saying 1968, but Halle has talked a lot recently about turning 40 soon, and as I stated in the case of J.Lo, it's highly unusual for an actress to add years to her age.)

According to most sources, Halle Maria Berry was born on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio. Astrotheme says she entered the world at 12:00 PM, which is suspect since that is their default chart time. Astroprofile.com puts her arrival at 9:03 PM while vegaattractions.com says 11:59 PM. No sources are given for any of the three birth times. Does anyone know which, if any, of these is correct?

Your help is much appreciated, dear readers! Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: As some commenters have pointed out, subsequent pictures of Halle do not seem to show a bump. Hmmm.... {Source}
